LAHORE: Model Town Club won the 33rd M Yasin Akhter Memorial Cricket Championship trophy when they outplayed Ludhiana Gymkhana by 50 runs in the final played at LRCA Ittefaq Ground.
Scores: Model Town Club 216/6 in 20 overs (Arslan Bajwa 93, Imamul Haq 49, Asim Ali Nasir 24, M Irfan 29*, Waseem Khan 2/26, Zeeshan Khan 2/63, Jamshaid Ahmed). Ludhiana Gymkhana 166/6 in 20 overs (Adnan Butt 39, Zeeshan Khan 43, Faisal Rasheed 27, Fahad Munir 19, Umer Siddiq 16, Saad Naseem 2/32).Sohaib Ayubi of the Servis Industries and Mohammad Zahid Chaudhry and Amir Ibrahim, who were guests of honour, gave away the prizes after the final.
