LAHORE
Nawan Kot CIA Police claimed to have arrested two members of a fraudster gang involved in selling fake tickets used in court papers and stamps on Monday. The accused were identified as Muhammad Naveed and Awais Nadeem. A special police team on a tip-off arrested the accused for selling fake receipts and tickets around Lahore High Court and other courts. The police team raided a shop and arrested the accused while their one accomplice JIbran managed to flee. Police recovered fake tickets worth Rs 1200,000 from them, computers, printers and other material used in the printing of the tickets. They had been doing this business for a long time. Investigations SSP Rana Ayyaz Saleem announced commendatory certificates for the police team.

Operations DIG Dr Haider Ashraf on the occasion said more than 5,000 police officials were deployed at the occasion and they checked more than 150,000 participants during four days.
