Three die in road accidents

BAHAWALPUR: Three people died in two road accidents on Friday. Sajawal and Hakim of Mehrab Wala were moving on a motorcycle with a wedding party when on KLP National Highway near Channo Goth a trailer hit them, leaving them dead on the spot. The second road accident took place near Chak 4, Gajjyani on Hasilpur-Chishtian Road where two motorcyclists hit Khuda Yar and two children. As a result, Khuda Yar died on the spot and the children were rushed to hospital.

TWO GIRLS ABDUCTED, RECOVERED: Two girls were abducted and then recovered on Friday. According to Baghdad-ul-Jadeed police, Shahid of Chak/12-BC took his 8-year-old daughter Rasheda to Chak-231/9-R to kill her and then to implicate a man who eloped with his wife.

The police recovered the girl and registered a case against Shahid and his accomplice. In the second case, two accused trapped a 15-year-old Arida Bibi on the pretext of collecting amount for her aunt through the Benazir Income Support programme. The accused took her from Bahawal Victoria Hospital.Later, the police recovered the girl from Alipur.
