‘Govt has disappointed nation’

NANKANA SAHIB: PPP district president Rai Shahjahan Bhatti Monday said the government has disappointed the nation.
Addressing a press conference at his residence, he said ministers and parliamentarians are utilising all resources for the success of the PML-N candidate in the by-polls. He said the PPP-led government has started construction of a bridge on a river at Syedwala to facilitate the people but the present government created hurdles. He accused the government of concealing inquiry report on the Model Town tragedy. He urged the Election Commission to take notice of misuse of official resources for the PML-N candidate. He said former Punjab governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar resigned because he was helpless before land mafia and harsh attitude of the rulers.
YOUTH KILLED: A van killed an unidentified youth near Malikpur on Monday. The youth was on his way when the van crushed him to death.
