PARIS: An international boxing card in the suburbs of Paris finished with a ninety minute mass brawl in the crowd which forced the evacuation of the venue, police said on Sunday.
The evening had included Frenchman Mohamed Mimoune winning the IBO super lightweight crown by beating Argentine Emiliano Dominguez Rodriguez. Then the violence moved out of the ring after a bout between local boxers. “At the end of the evening a brawl broke out around 23:55 in the Marcel Cerdan hall,” the local police headquarters said.
