I have to tell you a story
January 21, 2018
Sanat Initiative is hosting an exhibition titled “I have to tell you a story” featuring works by Amna Rahman and Numair A. Abbasi.
In “I have to tell you a story”; Abbasi’s practice has evolved into an anonymous figure, juxtaposed in acts of sex, as well as intimacies that always remain haunting and limited. Rahman’s figures similarly embody moments before or after intimacies, in almost voyeuristic ways.
The exhibition opens at 5pm on Tuesday, Jan 23 and continues until Feb 1at the Sanat Initiative gallery.
