Huge cache of ammunition seized

KALAYA: The law enforcement agencies on Friday foiled a terror bid and recovered huge quantity of ammunition in upper parts of Orakzai Agency, official sources said. They said the law enforcers carried out the action in Ghotak area in upper parts of Orakzai on the basis of information provided by the intelligence agencies that militants had buried huge amount of ammunition. The sources said they had recovered 5,710 rounds of heavy machine gun (HMG), 670 rounds of 12.7 MM and 40 rounds of 14.5 MM during the raid.
