KARACHI: Hamza Khan, the only seeded player from Pakistan, finished fourth in under-13 category in the British Junior Squash Championship in Birmingham on Sunday.
He was overpowered by Kareem Badawi of Egypt 11-13, 11-13, 12-10, 11-13 in the match for the third position. Mohammad Ammad finished seventh in the same category as he beat Jat Tse of Hong Kong 6-11, 10-12, 11-9, 11-1, 11-6 in the match for the seventh position.
Usman Nadeem will play against Alex Mullis of England for 35th position. In the under-15 category, Asadullah Khan finished 10th when he lost to Seifeldin Shams of Egypt 9-11, 11-13, 14-12, 8-11.
Ashab Irfan will face Nicolai Bo of Norway in the match for the 29th position in the under-15 category. Junaid Khan will play against Amin Khan of Canada. In the under-17 category, Farhan Hashmi will play against Fritiof Jacobsson of Sweden.
Naveed Rehman will face Srikar Mummidi from Wales. Haris Qasim is drawn against Viktor Byrtus of Czech and Uzair Shuakat is up against Leonardo Vargas of Mexico. Malik Abdul Moeiz is to face Jordan Stewart of England.
In the under-19 category, Mansoor Zaman is up against Ong Sai Hung from Malaysia for the 11th position. Abdul Malik Imran is to face James Wyatt of England and Uzair Rasheed is playing against Siow Yee Xian from Malaysia. Zeeshan Zeb is drawn against Jacob Ford of Australia. Ali Sher Khan will play against Stephen Hearst of Ireland for the 83rd position.
