Imran to reveal more facts about Sharifs today
ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan will reveal more facts today (Friday) about what he alleged ill-gotten wealth/ properties stashed abroad by the Sharifs and their corruption mafia.
In a tweet, he wrote, “I have always maintained Panama & Iqama were only a tip of the corruption iceberg. Tomorrow in my press conference I will reveal more facts about the ill-gotten wealth/ properties stashed abroad by the Sharifs & their corruption mafia”.
Imran in another tweet said that in the 2013 general elections, the MQM, PPP and PML-N had first selected their own umpires (ECP); then with their collusion the three parties rigged the 2013 elections in their respective areas. No wonder afterwards they all got together to prevent the PTI from holding an investigation.
“Therefore, we were right in doing the dharna to get an investigation so next elections would be free and fair. Now it must be clear to all how the PML-N vote bank went from 6.8 million in 2008 to 15 million in 2013,” he wrote.
On receiving more evidence with regards to Hudaibya mills case, Imran summoned legal expert Babar Awan and got briefing thereon. Imran vowed to chase the Sharifs to expose their corruption. He claimed Nawaz Sharif was out of politics after the Panama case judgement and now Shahbaz Sharif would be put behind bars.
Imran also announced to put before the nation important facts. He added that Shahbaz Sharif would not get any NRO this time. Babar Awan said that trial of the Hudaibya case was mandatory under Article 13 of the Constitution and that Shahbaz would face murder cases as well.
Meanwhile, the PTI criticised Shahbaz Sharif and Punjab Information and Public Relations Department’s rhetoric about an anonymous Chinese company’s letter in national newspapers.
Censuring the misuse of national exchequer for such fallacious advertisements, the PTI has demanded the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to investigate the matter.
The PTI president central Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan bashing the Punjab government stated that the chief minister lacks even a shred of morality.
“CM Punjab and his cronies are plundering national exchequer over advertisement of anonymous Chinese company’s letter,” said Aleem Khan. He said Information and Public Relations Department Punjab is plundering taxpayers’ money to gratify CM Punjab and toiling hard to sketch him honest by printing a ludicrous letter on front pages of newspapers.
Taking a jibe at Sharif family, he alleged that Sharif mafia or Qatari letter mafia was playing the same tricks to prove them innocent through this Chinese letter as they did during Panama case.
