Woman commits suicide: A 25-year-old woman took her own life at her Hijrat Colony residence on Saturday.
Civil Lines police SHO Waqar Tanoli said the victim, Nazia Wajid, hanged herself from a ceiling fan. The officer said Nazia and her husband, Wajid, had been facing marital issues for a while and that drove her to the extreme step. Her body was shifted to theJPMC for an autopsy. The SHO said Nazia's body had been handed over to her heirs and an investigation had been started.
