LAHORE: Pakistan hockey team coach Farhat Khan has resigned following back to back defeats of the team. In his telephonic message to Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) President Brig Khalid Khokhar, Farhat informed about his decision. Farhat has termed his personal life and official duties as the prime reason for his resignation. But the real reason of his resignation is the worst performance of the team in the Champions League where the team even lost to Japan. “The national team has extensive events to take part in the coming year and for me it would be difficult to spare time for the team but my support will always be with the federation,” said Farhat.
