Chinese political system receives world acclaim
BEIJING: The attendance of more than 600 delegates from around the world belonging to different political parties at the first-ever political dialogue hosted by Communist Party of China (CPC) in Beijing showed a strong signal of trust in the Chinese political system, responsibilities and the remarkable achievements cultivated over decades.
According to political analysts, on one hand, it was a great and significant opportunity for the CPC to confidently present its successful model to world leaders; on the other hand, it was a platform for global political minds to share their ideas originating from their own local environment and perspective.
The much-needed gathering caught the attention of the international community just after the successful 19th National Congress of CPC that created a blueprint of development not only for the Chinese people, but for the international community as well. The presence of the large number of political leaders showed China's circle of friends is increasing all the time following its rapid development and the role being played by meaningful consultations.
The keynote speech delivered by CPC General Secretary Xi Jinping called on world political parties to make joint efforts for building a community of a shared future for humanity. It was the same message delivered by Xi in the work report presented to the 19th National Congress of CPC.
With the visionary Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), China is increasing its assistance to other developing countries by supporting multilateral trade regimes and by establishing free trade areas.
