Family beaten over minor issue

DASKA: A family was beaten over a petty issue in the limits of Sadar police on Wednesday. Twenty-nine accused, including Imran, Ashfaq and Amanullah, entered the house of Riaz and allegedly beat him and his family members with the help of sticks and batons.

DACOITY: A dacoity incident was reported in the area of Bombanwala police on Wednesday.Waris and his wife were on their way home from Daska when two dacoits intercepted them and snatched cash and a cell phone.
