HARIPUR: A man was killed and two other persons sustained injuries in separate rain-related incidents here on Tuesday.
In the first incident, a man was killed when the roof collapsed due to heavy rains in the limits of Khalabat Police Station. The deceased identified as Khushi Muhammad was asleep when the incident happened.
Similarly, two persons were injured and their house damaged when lightning struck a house in Sara-e-Niamat Khan village.
According to information received here, Kabeerur Rehman and his wife were in their house when lightning struck, injuring both of them. The injured were shifted to Rural Health Centre (RHC) Sara-e-Naimat Khan.
