Farhat undergoes liver cancer surgery

LAHORE: Farhat Hussain Siddiqui, a former chief coach Pakistan badminton team and father of two Test cricketers Imran Farhat and Humayun Farhat, has undergone a successful operation of liver cancer. He underwent surgery under the supervision of Dr Asim at the Shaukat Khanum Cancer and Research Centre. It may be mentioned here that Farhat is the senior most physical educationist of the country. An old Abbottonian he has also has served as Director Sports Punjab University. Sports circles have prayed for his early recovery from the fatal disease.
