Govt criticised over poor law, order
CHARSADDA: Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) head Aftab Sherpao has demanded a judicial inquiry into the December 1 attack on the Agriculture Training Institute (ATI).
Speaking at inaugural ceremony of a gas supply project in Shabqadar, he criticised the government for poor law and order. He said the rulers should frame policies for protection of the life and property of the common man.
He demanded merger of Fata into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa before the 2018 general election so that proper representation of the Pakhtuns in the National Assembly and Senate was made possible.
The QWP chief rejected the five and 10 years plan for the merger as devised by the federal government. The QWP chief also demanded the US government to immediately withdraw the decision about declaration of Al-Quds as capital of Israel as the step had hurt the sentiments of the entire Muslim world. He termed the US move a violation of the United Nations resolution and global consensus on the issue of Palestine.
