Pak-India baseball series in Dubai from 9th

LAHORE: Pakistan Federation Baseball (PFB) is holding Dubai Cup 2017 involving Pakistan and India.This was revealed by President PFB Syed Khawar Shah here at a press conference at National Hockey Stadium on Tuesday. Shah, flanked by Syed Shahryar Ali, President Punjab Baseball Association and Sh Mazhar Ahmad Secretary General PFB, said that federation is holding Dubai Cup (India and Pakistan Baseball Series) at Dulsco Alqouz playfield in Dubai. National baseball teams of India and Pakistan are participating in this series. Two games will be played from December 9 to 10, 2017. Shah said that World Baseball Softball Confederation has sanctioned this baseball series in Dubai under the arrangements by Pakistan Federation Baseball.
The points of this series will be included in World Ranking points. Shahryar Ali said that Dubai Cup will be fruitful for the promotion of baseball not only in Dubai but also in whole West Asian Region. He said that being a baseball player he was ready to work for the promotion of baseball. Sh Mazhar Ahmad, Secretary General PFB said that all the arrangements have been completed. Teams will arrive in Dubai on December 7 and will depart from Dubai on December 11, 2017.

Mazhar Ahmad (Assistant Manager), Musaddiq Hanif, Saleem Ahmad Khan (coaches) and Zafar Hussain (umpire).
