Health is wealth, students reminded

KARAK: Deputy Commissioner Shafiullah Khan said on Friday that co-curricular activities were the reflection of a health society and asked the students to take part in sports.
He was addressing as chief guest at the concluding ceremony of annual sport gala at the Government Girls Primary School, Makoori.
Assistant Commissioner Mir Hawas Khan, District Education Officer (Female) Karak Nargis Jamal and focal person of the sport gala Assistant District Officer (ADO-Education) Shamim Khattak were also present on the occasion.
The deputy commissioner said that co-curricular activities were part of education and it created the spirit of competition among the students.
He appreciated the performance of the female students who presented sketches liked by the audience.
Shafiullah Khan urged the students to prepare themselves for competitions at the country level.
He said the younger generation was the future of the country and no effort would be spared to provide them quality education.
He offered all-out support to Education Department on behalf of district administration with regards to co-curricular activities in the district.
