Kaira questions Imran’s liberalism

LAHORE: Pakistan People's Party Central Punjab President Qamar Zaman Kaira has asked PTI Chairman Imran Khan to explain what liberalism he is bringing in the country while joining hands with Maulana Samiul Haq.

Talking to the media on Tuesday, Kaira said the facet of Imran Khan was being exposed. He alleged Iman Khan's present allies included the elements in whose Madressah the conspiracy of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto's murder was hatched.

He said the PPP would never endorse any undemocratic act and counter any threat to democracy. Qamar Zaman Kaira said since 1990 every time rigging had been done in favour of Nawaz Sharif and no one else had hurled abuses at judiciary more than him. 

Kaira also said that there should not be a perception in the country that different laws existed for the powerful and the weak.

 It is up to the judiciary to decide how long it would continue to let a person slam the institution publicly, he added.
