Sharifs scared Dar will spill the beans, says Imran

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Sunday said that it was extremely shocking to see the helplessness of Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in removing a corrupt finance minister from his cabinet

In a message on social media, Imran contended that puppet of Nawaz Sharif -- Shahid Khaqan -- can’t remove Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, the Sharif mafia's front man, and absconder from justice, facing multiple charges of corruption and money laundering.

He wrote that Sharif mafia is petrified because Ishaq Dar may spill more beans about their money laundering post his earlier confession. Meanwhile, PTI Central Spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry in a statement said: “The government doesn’t seem to complete its tenure. The incumbent prime minister seems handcuffed to remove his own corrupt finance minister.”

Fawad lashed out at the government and said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) must learn the fact that governments cannot be run by begging. He further stated that it is extremely reprehensible that the sitting prime minister is unable to remove a corrupt minister from his cabinet.

He said that people are in deep confusion as to who actually is holding the reins of power of PML-N government. About the Sharifs, he alleged that they kept ranting about “conspiracy” in response to their exposed crimes and remained tongue-tied over the billions that have been transferred to their accounts over night.

Agencies add: Maryam Nawaz, the daughter of deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif, described Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan as a “puppet” on Sunday after the latter used the same word for PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

 “Puppet is a word synonymous with you. Aaj ye tweet kerne ka hukam mila hai (Have you been ordered to this tweet this today)?” Maryam responded to a tweet by Khan wherein he claimed that the PM was a ‘puppet’ of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief. She hinted that the PTI chief was ‘ordered’ to tweet these remarks on the micro-blogging website, without naming any individual or institution.

Meanwhile, Senator Pervaiz Rashid said that Imran Khan was scared of the PML-N, adding that the PTI was in the process of elimination. ABBOTTABAD He said it seemed that Imran also wanted to avoid general elections in 2018.

Talking to media, he said that in upcoming elections, PTI would be wiped out of the political scenario while the PML-N has emerged as stronger than ever, as not a single PML-N worker did leave the party and they fully supported Nawaz Sharif.

Pervaiz Rashid said that Imran Khan’s politics had completely failed and people would get rid of his politics since the PML-N was founder party of the country and it had brought the country on the track of progress and development. He expressed the optimism that in the forthcoming general elections that the PML-N would convincingly win, and eventually form federal and provincial governments in the country.
