DERA ISMAIL KHAN: JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman says his party’s support is must to form a government and a government formed without its support cannot run long.

Addressing a convention at a seminary here on Sunday, he said there was still room in the Constitution for improvement. He said there was no need for staging demonstrations, as the Khatam-e-Nabuwwat declaration had been restored in toto due to their efforts.

"The Constitution would have been secularised if the JUI-F didn't have representation in parliament," he said while addressing a convention at a seminary here. Fazl said his party had foiled the implementation of the western and Jewish agenda in Pakistan. "We will have to use our full potential to face the challenges," he added.

He said the US was fanning sectarianism in the Middle East to establish hegemony in the world. "The US wants to destabilise the Muslim world by creating anarchy and disturbance," he said.

Fazl said the JUI-F had succeeded to avert such a war in Pakistan. "We will not allow the the anti-Islam forces to implement their agenda in Pakistan that was created in the name of Islam," he declared.

The JUI-F head said the slogan of nationalism was being raised to provoke the people. "We have always opposed nationalism, as it creates differences and hatred among the people," he noted.

He said no effort would be spared for the implementation of Shariah in the country. However, he said his party was opposed to the use of force or violence. "We have always opposed imposing one's ideology on other people at gunpoint," he asserted.

He said the next general election should be held on time or else democracy could derail. He said his party didn't have enmity with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). "We have frustrated the PTI's efforts to implement the Jewish agenda in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa," he added.
