Stay granted on Sheikh Rashid plea

LAHORE 'A civil court on Friday granted a stay order by November 22, on a petition filed by Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmad.
The AML chief had filed petition before the court to bar owner of a building, which is being used as party office by AML, from getting it vacated.
The owner of the building had moved the court of rent controller stating that he had rented his building to the AML head for his party office, adding that Rashid was neither paying the rent nor leaving the building. The owner had also alleged that he was receiving threats from the AML leader.
