PESHAWAR: Speakers at a seminar here highlighted the youth’s role for building a peaceful society.
The seminar titled “Changing thoughts together for peace” was organised in connection with the International Peace Day at the Frontier Law College on Thursday. Hamza Jehangir was one of the main organizers of the event.
Member of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Arif Yousaf was the chief guest on the occasion.
Around 300 participants, mostly young lawyers from across the province, attended the seminar.
Speaking on the occasion, Arif Yousaf elaborated the prospects of political and economic freedom in the absence of peace. “Our government has taken all possible measures to restore peace in the province.
We have been encouraging the youth to play their role in all sphere of life,” he added.
