Lahore Police to check wheelie

LAHORE: Lahore CTO has said Traffic Police are making a film “Speed” in order to convey a video message to youths against wheelie-doing.

He stated this while addressing the inaugural ceremony of the film held at Alhamra Hall, Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday. DG Rescue 1122, senior police officers and local actors were present on this occasion. The CTO said that the film would be released by the end of this year and dedicated to the police martyrs.

Meanwhile, Lahore police arrested six persons for wheelie-doing and seven kite-flyers here on Sunday. Police also recovered 180 kites and 202 kite twine spools from their possession.City Traffic Police also arranged a training session at Alhamra Hall Road on Sunday, to improve the personal skills of patrolling officers.

The session was attended by the CTO Lahore, SP Traffic Istanbul Turkey and other senior officers. SP Traffic Istanbul also shared his observation and professional experience with the audience. A comparative study report between City Traffic Police, Lahore and Traffic Police, Turkey was also presented in the session.
