The judicial magistrate for District South issued non-bailable arrest warrants against MQM-Pakistan leaders Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Aminul Haque, Aslam Afridi and others who failed to appear for Friday’s hearing of a case pertaining to a protest held outside the CM House in June last year. The MQM-P leaders face charges of illegal loudspeaker use and disrupting law and order while protesting against water shortage during Qaim Ali Shah’s tenure. The IO was told to arrest and present them at the next hearing on September 8.
