Man, daughter die in accident

LAHORE: A man and his daughter were run over and killed by a speeding truck in the Manga Mandi police area on Friday.

The victims were identified as Ramazan, a resident of Pattoki and his daughter. There were going on a bike when a speeding truck hit from behind near Manga. As a result, both died on the spot.  Police have yet to arrest the accused driver who fled the scene.  The bodies have been handed over their family.

terrorists held:  Jhang CTD claimed to have arrested two terrorists and seized explosives from their custody.  According to the CTD, they were planning to carry out terrorist activities in Punjab in near future.

Instantly, upon information, a CTD team raided new Bypass Jhang Toba Road and arrested the terrorists. They have been identified as Khalil ur Rehman and Anees ur Rehman.

Asif Sadique has been posted as SP Punjab Highway Patrol Sargodha, Hassan Jamil Haider as senior traffic police officer Lahore, Zahid Majeed as SDPO Sadar Rajanpur, Mohammad Azeem as SDPO Sadar Okara, Zia ul Haq as SDPO Sargodha Road Faisalabad, Imtiaz Ahmad as DSP Security Model Town Lahore, Ghulam Mustafa as DSP 96-H, Daood Hussain as DSP Punjab Constabulary Farooqabad and Farhat Abbas has been posted as DSP Legal Police Training School Farooqabda. Tanveer Ahmad has been directed to report to Central Police Office Punjab, Lahore.
