Lawyers, opposition parties celebrate PM’s disqualification
GUJRANWALA: The leadership and workers of different political parties on Friday expressed their joy over the disqualification of PM Nawaz Sharif in the Panama Leaks case. The workers of PTI, PPP, Jamaat-e-Islami and PML-Q took out rallies and chanted slogans in favour of the Supreme Court. They also distributed sweet among each other. The workers also danced on the beat of the drums.
JARANWALA: Lawyers on Friday expressed their pleasure over the disqualification of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif by the Supreme Court in the Panama Leaks case.
The lawyers gathered in the bar’s library and chanted ‘Go Nawaz Go’ slogans. Some lawyers also danced and congratulated each other over the disqualification of Nawaz Sharif. They also distributed sweets among each other to express their joy. The lawyers also chanted slogans in favour of the Supreme Court’s decision. Meanwhile, hundreds of PTI workers took out a rally to express their joy after the Supreme Court’s decision. The rally started from the dera of former federal law minister Wasi Zafar and after marching through various roads culminated at the Cinema Chowk.

The PTI workers gathered at the dera of PTI leader Muhammad Ashraf Khan Sohna and distributed sweets among each other. They also danced on the beat of drums. Ashraf Khan while speaking on the spot said that Imran Khan’s dream of new Pakistan had come true. He said that the country’s supreme judiciary had given a historical verdict. He said that the decision would bring a bright future to Pakistan. He said that the nation salutes the Supreme Court’s judges and the JIT members. Meanwhile, the PTI workers headed by MPA Ch Masood Shafqat Rubera organised a rally to show their joy on the disqualification of PM Nawaz Sharif.

HAFIZABAD: Workers of the PTI distributed sweets among the citizens to express their jubilation over the disqualification of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif by the Supreme Court.
The PTI workers led by former MNA Ch Mehdi Hassan Bhatti and former minister Liaqat Abbas Bhatti also took out a rally. Addressing the rally, Mehdi Bhatti claimed that the PTI would win all the national and provincial assembly seats in the district during the next ge1neral elections.
He said that corruption of Sharif family had been fully exposed. He urged the PTI workers to forge unity to give a crushing defeat to their political rivals.
Meanwhile, workers of the PML-N expressed solidarity with Nawaz Sharif. They hoped that the party would be further strengthened in future and would win the 2018 general elections with an overwhelming majority.
BAHAWALPUR: Activists of the PTI and PPP celebrated the disqualification of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif by the Supreme Court in the Panama Leaks case here on Friday.
The PPP activists staged a demonstration at Chowk Bazaar and welcomed the SC decision. They also distributed sweets among the people. The PTI activists gathered at the party secretariat on Multan Road and danced to the drumbeats.
Meanwhile, the PTI Youth Wing activists took out a motorcycle rally from One Unit Chowk up to Sadr Pulli Chowk. Rallies were also taken out by the PTI activists in Bahawalnagar and Rahimyar Khan.
