Rawalpindi: Chief Executive Health District Rawalpindi Dr. Fayyaz Ahmad Butt has said the record related to issuance of licences to the medical stores and the pharmaceutical companies is being computerised to ensure transparency in this process.
"We are in touch with the representatives of the pharmacies and medical stores and all of them will be taken into confidence about upcoming computerised system to ensure transparency in issuance of licenses," he said.
There are around 5,000 medical stores operating in the Rawalpindi District and the computerised system about issuance of the licenses would be monitored by Primary and Secondary Health Care Department (Lahore) instead of the Health Department Rawalpindi.
