Chairlift tragedy: body of one person recovered

MINGORA: The body of a man was recovered from Khwazakhela on Sunday as search continued for two others who had drowned in the river in Ashuran area in Kalam Valley a day earlier.
"Yes, the body of one of the three victims was found in Khwazakhela. And search continued for the other two drowned persons throughout the day," said an official. A chairlift installed over the river connecting Ashran and Paler villages collapsed on Saturday. Five persons had drowned in the tragedy and the local people had rescued two of the in an injured condition.
