Islamabad: The South Asian Strategic Stability Institute (SASSI) has announced to officially launch its university, in collaboration with the CDA Training Academy, on February 2.
Some of the courses offered by the university include Counter-terrorism and Security Studies, Nanotechnology, Information and Cyber Security, Peace and Conflict Studies, Governance and Public Policy, Town Planning and Architecture, Oriental and Interfaith Studies, and Media Sciences.
Dr. Maria Sultan, chairperson of SASSI University, will hold a briefing here on Monday at Serena Hotel, Islamabad, to give a comprehensive introduction about the SASSI University.
“The South Asian Strategic Stability Institute (SASSI) University is an autonomous non-profit research organisation based on public–private partnership and is a degree-awarding institute dedicated to promoting peace and stability in South Asia.” Dr. Maria said, adding that the university aims to make a leading contribution to regional and international academic and policy-oriented research discourses about the South Asian security.
A number of high officials, delegates, renowned think tanks, academicians, analysts and intellectuals from different organisations are invited to participate in the launching ceremony.
