CHUNIAN: Four dacoity incidents were reported here on Wednesday.
Three dacoits intercepted Pervaiz Masih of Nizampura and took away his bike and cash. In another incident, five dacoits took away cash and other valuables from the house of Javed Iqbal at Qila Roopa Singh. Two dacoits entered the shop of Iftikhar and looted valuables. Some unidentified dacoits entered the house of Dr Karamat at Herchoki and made off with valuables. Police have registered separate cases.
WOMAN KILLED IN ACCIDENT: A woman was killed while another injured in an accident at Elabad Chowk here on Wednesday.
Asad and Saba were on their way by a bike when a speeding truck hit their motorcycle. As a result, Saba died on the spot while Asad sustained injuries.
DRUG PUSHER HELD: Changa Manga police on Wednesday arrested a drug pusher and recovered 630 grams charas from him.
