Upgradation of paramedics demanded

Islamabad: A meeting of the All Pakistan Paramedical Staff Federation which held here demanded of the Federal Government to announce upgradation of the paramedics serving in health institutions and hospitals on the pattern of provinces.

Muhammad Arshad Khan, general secretary during the meeting demanded that the minimum pay scale for the para medical staff of the federal government should be fixed at BS-12, which has already been implemented by the KP government and other provinces.

He said the final summary for upgradation of the paramedical staff has been pending with the Ministry of Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) for the last over one year.

"We demand of the government to announce upgradtion of the staff after seeking approval from the Prime Minister and Minister of State for CADD to end unrest among the para medical staff," he said.

The meeting was attended by press secretary Muhammad Anas, Adil Anwar, Joseph Paul, Rana Ahmad, Khalid Rao, Bilal Shah and others.
