Islamabad: With the Eid Milad-un-Nabi just two days away, preparations for the celebrations of the birth anniversary of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) entered the last lap in Islamabad and Rawalpindi on Friday.
The local residents have illuminated houses, mosques and bazaars besides decorating them with colourful buntings, lights and green flags to express their love with Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Large banners and billboards are on display across the twin cities to highlight Eid Milad events, while government, educational institutions, and social and religious organisations have planned special activities to mark 12th Rabiul Awal including Naat competitions and Darood-o-Salam Mahafil. Processions have also been planned for the day.
