The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Altaf criticised the faction in Pakistan on Monday for expelling MNA Ali Raza Abidi from its ranks.
“The public and activists have no respect for the people who have sold their conscience,” the MQM-A said in a statement issued from London.
"The PIB group [MQM-Pakistan] has no legal or moral standing,” the statement read.
MQM-P ended the basic membership of party leader Syed Ali Raza Abidi on Sunday.
Abidi has been directed to resign from the National Assembly as well.
The MQM-P said the step was taken as Abidi had not followed policies taken from August 23 onwards.
On August 23, the MQM-P had distanced itself from the controversial statements of the party leadership in London with deputy convener Farooq Sattar taking control of the party.
Sattar had said future party decisions would be made by the MQM coordination committee in Pakistan.
On October 23, the MQM-P leadership had expelled 11 members from the party and advised activists to not stay in contact with them.
