Ravi Gymkhana, Metropolitan CC win in cricket tourney

KARACHI: Ravi Gymkhana beat National Gymkhana and Metropolitan Cricket Club overcame Northern Gymkhana in the KCCA Zone VI ‘A’ Division League Cricket Tournament here on Friday.

Batting first, National Gymkhana scored 170 runs in 37 overs here at Afza Ground. Musharraf Sheikh top scored for the side with 32 runs. Abid Alam captured three wickets.

Ravi Gymkhana achieved the target in 38.5 overs with two wickets in hand. Muhammad Yasin batted well for the side, scoring unbeaten 33 runs. Hasnain Mughal took three wickets.

At KCCA Stadium, Northern Gymkhana posted 202 in 38.1 overs. Saeed Mutabir top scored with 44 runs. Muhammad Usman and Naveed Al-Amin picked three wickets each.

Metropolitan Cricket Club reached the target in 34.3 overs with two wickets remaining. Arsalan Wasim made 47.
