Islamabad
Prof Fateh Muhammad Malik has said that Iqbal and Quaid-i-Azam gave us this territory to make Pakistan an example of goodness and virtue. He was addressing the Iqbal Day function organised by Ali Trust College here on Wednesday.
Prof appreciated the performance of this college which is promoting Pakistaniyet in the country by having equal number of students from all provinces, AJK, GB, and Fata. He also recalled Mahmood-ul-Haq Alvi, the founder of this charity institution.
He referred to books in India who earlier said that Pakistan was formed by mistakes of Jinnah and now say that it was due to mistakes of Nehru and Gandhi. He said the country did not came out by a mistake of anybody but was carved out for a land for Muslims to live their own way. He called for making Pakistan a truly Islamic country.
Prof Malik said that institutions like ATC will take Pakistan to its true objectives.
He quoted “Myth of Independence” by Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Shaheed where he says he found that every small or big decision was taken in Washington DC. He said Gen Raheel wants to liberate Pakistan out of US shackles.
He also criticised NGOs for promoting Western and Jewish agenda. He said that freedom movement of Kashmiris espoused by Iqbal is in full swing in the valley but the authorities are ignoring it. He called for performing Rasm-e-Shabbiri.
He said that after the victory of Donald Trump, we should revert back to the philosophy of Iqbal and Jinnah. Earlier, students of the College as well as nearby Ali Trust Model School presented skits, poems and ‘baitbazi’ on the occasion. Abdul Wahid, the Principal of ATC, thanked the participants in the end.
