Good governance our top priority, says AJK PM
MUZAFFARABAD: AJK acting Prime Minister Raja Nisar Ahmed Khan has said that provision of good governance to the people was PML-N government’s top priority.
While talking to various delegations from different parts of AJK the acting premier reiterated government’s three points agenda; promotion of Kashmir issue in its real context, provision of good governance to the people and development in AJK.
The acting PM elaborated the government plan for the next five years. He said that supporting brothers in occupied Kashmir in their struggle for right to self-determination according to the United Nations resolutions and highlighting human rights situation in occupied Kashmir at international level is priority number one.
Fighting corruption and eliminating political influence and establishment of rule of law and merit will remain second priority and development in health, education, infrastructure sectors, promoting tourism and setting up hydro power projects to overcome energy crisis and make state economy self-sufficient, would be 3rd point of the agenda.
The acting prime minister said that a “surgical” operation has been launched in the education department to clean it and new reforms would be introduced and administrative and academic cadres would be separated to enhance performance of the department.
