Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) A D Khowaja has ordered organising seminars to enhance professional capabilities of police officers.
According to a statement issued on Saturday, he said the seminars should be aimed at improving the performance of the police department as well as maintaining contact with the masses.
The IGP said the police officials associated with operations, investigation, forensics, finger prints and other important sections as well as members of the judiciary, lawyers, business community, the CPLC and welfare organisations should also be invited to these seminars so that in the light of suggestions and recommendations, steps could be initiated for enhancing the capabilities of the police personnel. The provincial police chief said that he would himself attend some of the seminars.
