New FPCCI president welcomed

LAHORE: The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has congratulated the newly elected president of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Mian Muhammad Adrees.
In a press statement issued Friday, LCCI President Ijaz A Mumtaz expressed optimism and said the new FPCCI leadership would strengthen liaison with all the members to achieve the larger goal of economic progress and prosperity.
The LCCI president said the FPCCI leadership should initiate work in collaboration with the member bodies to help government overcome the energy crises.
He urged the FPCCI to help government in boosting economic activities that are a prerequisite to expedite local investment and attract foreign investors.
