Anarchists have set corruption records in KP, claims Fazl
Says hooligans want instability in the country;
mere allegations do not make a person criminal
FAISALABAD: JUI-F chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman said the anarchists had set new records of corruption in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Talking to media after addressing the ‘Mufti Mehmood Conference’ the other day, he said those making noise over Panama Papers should know that mere allegation didn’t make a person criminal.
Fazl said the hooligans, who had spread stink in the federal capital for four months, wanted to create political instability, adding that what the purpose of sit-in was when the Supreme Court had started the hearing of Panama Papers issue. He alleged that Imran Khan was Zionists’ agent and staging protests on their instructions. The PTI chairman embezzled billions of rupees in the name of Shaukat Khanum Hospital and was the ‘inventor’ of offshore companies; therefore, he must first opt to self-analysis, Fazl remarked.
The JUI-F chief asked the people of Punjab to rebel against feudal and capitalists who, he said, were able to strengthen their position due to the voters. He opined that the slave mindset of rulers was behind the unrest in the country, adding that the Kashmir issue wasn’t being resolved and they wanted to hold the rulers accountable.
Addressing the conference, Senate Deputy Chairman Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, Hafiz Hussain Ahmed and Federal Housing Minister Akram Durrani said they would also say that Prime Minister was going to lose the office when a leader like Khawaja Asif labelled accusations against madrasas.
