Efforts of Javed Malik in boosting Pak-Bahrain ties lauded
MANAMA: Javed Malik, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain was presented a special appreciation shield by the President of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce & Industry Khalid Al Moayed to recognise and appreciate his efforts in enhancing the business to business contacts between the business fraternities of Pakistan and Kingdom of Bahrain, says a press release on Monday.
Javed Malik was also appreciated for successfully organising the first Pakistan-Bahrain Business Opportunities Conference. The appreciation shield was presented at an impressive ceremony organised at the Bahrain Chamber & Industry attended by a large number of Pakistani business delegates including President of Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry Abdul Rauf Alam.
Prominent Bahraini business leaders including Khalid Al Zayani and Chairman Bahrain Asian Traders Committee Sajid Izhar-ul-Haq were also present on the occasion. Talking to the media after the presentation, Ambassador Javed Malik said, “All my efforts are motivated by a sense of national duty towards Pakistan, and Pakistan Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain is working taking Pakistan Bahrain relations to their rightful potential with a clear focus on upgrading and enhancing our economic ties. “I must appreciate the warm and positive response by the Bahraini business community and the continued support of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce in building strong business to business ties between our business communities.
Javed Malik further said, “The decision to establish Pakistan-Bahrain Investment Company was a very positive outcome of the conference and we are now working with the Bahraini businessmen to give a practical shape to implement this idea.”
