CM thanks China for new installment for orange train
LAHORE
Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that provision of billions of rupees by EXIM Bank of China for Pakistan reflects the confidence of China in the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the Punjab government.
The chief minister thanked the Chinese government and leadership for the new installment for Lahore Orange Line Metro Train project. He said the opponents of metro train project indulged in baseless propaganda against this splendid project of public welfare. He said the Chinese government and leadership had proved to be true friend of Pakistan by ensuring continuous provision of funds for the project. The chief minister said that uninterrupted supply of funds by China for the project was a lesson for those elements as were against provision of modern facilities to the common man.
Shahbaz Sharif said that Orange Line Metro Train was a unique project in the history of the country as billions of rupees of poor people had been saved in this project. He said that Chinese Prime Minister had termed Orange Line Metro Train a gift for Pakistan and Pakistani people would never forget this invaluable gift. He said that completion of Orange Line Metro Train project would usher in a new era of friendship between Pakistan and China.
