The rally participants raised slogans "Kashmir banay ga Pakistan", "Indians leave Kashmir", "Kashmir Independence is linked with the independence of Pakistan". Addressing the participants, Maulana Samiul Haq said the rally was taken out on August 14 to express solidarity with the Kashmiris.
The Maulana underlined the need for unity among the religious parties for the independence of Kashmir. The participants of the rally also torched an effigy of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
