Pakistan’s tourism sector stands at a pivotal point in 2025, with projections estimating the over $4 billion in revenue this year. From the alpine majesty of the Kaghan Valley to the beaches of Gwadar, Pakistan offers extraordinary geographic diversity. Domestic tourism is soaring due to improved infrastructure and rising middle-class incomes, while global investors are eyeing coastal and mountain resorts. However, challenges remain. Unchecked tourism threatens delicate ecosystems through littering, deforestation and unplanned construction. Balancing growth with sustainability will be essential to protecting our natural treasures and ensuring local communities continue to benefit.
