The News Education Expo concludes after disseminating information about higher education prospects

The two-day The News Education Expo 2025 organised by the Jang Group concluded at the Karachi Expo Centre on Sunday. On its second and last day, the educational event continued drawing a large number of students and parents keen to explore academic opportunities in Pakistan and abroad.

The event featured stalls from a wide range of prestigious educational institutions and universities from across the country providing students with guidance on higher education options under one roof.

The varsities that put stalls at the expo included Szabist, Al-Kawthar University, Sir Syed University, Sukkur IBA, Sohail University, Iqra University, UIT University, Greenwich University, National University of Modern Languages, Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Sindh Madressatul Islam University, University of Management and Technology and Forman Christian College.

In addition to institutional showcases, the event also offered career counselling sessions and information about artificial intelligence, digital marketing and graphic design. Shahab Hashim, a young A-level student, said he arrived at the expo to get information about undergraduate programmes in various engineering disciplines being offered by various Pakistani universities. He said he aspired to become an engineer in the future and after attending the event, he was well-equipped with information that would help him take the best educational choice for the future.

The event was inaugurated on Saturday by Senator Sarmad Ali, Group Managing Director (Marketing) of the Jang Group. Speaking on the occasion, he said The News Education Expo was being held consistently for the past 16 years, helping students make informed decisions about their academic future by giving them access to representatives of various institutions in one place.

“This platform plays a vital role in helping students understand their options and choose the right path for their higher education,” said Senator Ali.
