CM provides financial support for boxer Alia Soomro

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Monday announced a sponsorship for boxer Alia Soomro to participate in a Dubai tournament.
Soomro will take on an Indian opponent in an international boxing event, the chief minister's spokesperson said and added that the CM had provided financial support of Rs4.7 million to Soomro.
The provincial government is determined to encourage and support female athletes, CM Murad Ali Shah said as he prayed for the success for the boxer. Sindh Assembly members Yousaf Baloch, Shazia Karim and Asad Gabol presented a cheque to Alia.
