Police say security plan chalked out for Eidul Azha

All regional and district police officers across KP have been directed to ensure foolproof security during festival

PESHAWAR: A special security plan has been chalked out for the provincial capital and other districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during Eidul Azha.

All the regional and district police officers across the KP have been directed to ensure foolproof security during the festival.

They have been directed to increase security of the mosques, Eidgahs, cattle markets, parks and trade centers.

In Peshawar, patrolling by the rider squad and police patrol has been increased in the city, while surveillance of all entry and exit routes of the city has also been tightened.

Capital City Police Officer Qasim Ali Khan and Senior Superintendent of Police Operations Masood Ahmad Bangash reviewed the security for the provincial capital during and after Eid.
