FAISALABAD: Two hired assassins were killed in an alleged police encounter near Samanah Pully on Dhanola Road.
According to a spokesperson for CCD, four suspects on two motorcycles approached a checkpoint from Samanah village.
They opened fire when asked to stop and tried to flee. Police reinforcements arrived there and after an exchange of fire, two suspects were found critically injured and died en route to a hospital. The deceased were identified as Parvez and Saif, both contract killers.
Records revealed their involvement in multiple crimes, including the targeted killing of an 8-month pregnant woman in Millat Town.
They had also attempted to kill a man in a separate Nishatabad case.
