Experts moot on orthopedic trauma care

PESHAWAR: The experts shared their insights and experiences in orthopedic trauma care at the 2nd “International SIGN Peshawar Conference” here on Thursday.

The conference was organised in collaboration with SIGN Fracture Care International and the Shahab Institute of Nursing & Allied Health Sciences (SHinHS). The event brought together orthopedic professionals from across Pakistan and abroad for a day of high-level academic exchange and collaboration.

Surgeons from Afghanistan and a renowned orthopedic trauma surgeon from the United States added valuable global perspectives to the discussions.Dr David Shearer, vice-president of SIGN Fracture Care International and a trauma specialist at San Francisco General Hospital, delivered captivating lectures that were highly appreciated by attendees for their depth and relevance.

The conference featured keynote presentations, expert lectures, and engaging panel discussions. World-renowned doctors also joined virtually via Zoom, contributing their expertise to a wide audience of participants. Attendees gained critical knowledge and skills aimed at improving patient care and treatment outcomes.The event provided a vibrant platform for networking, collaboration, and idea-sharing among professionals.
