Journalist’s family robbed in North Karachi

Three unidentified armed men dressed in office suits carried out a broad daylight robbery in the Khawaja Ajmer Nagri area of North Karachi, Sector 5-C/4, holding a woman and her children hostage at gunpoint.
According to police, the niece of senior journalist Imran ur Rehman had arrived in the area from Malir to visit her parental home when she was targeted by the assailants. The armed suspects intercepted her and forcibly took gold jewelry, including earrings, a ring, and a chain, valued at over Rs 150,000.
A case had been registered at the local police station, and an investigation was currently underway. Concerned residents have called for increased police patrolling in the area.
